The passenger terminal is a single-storey building with disabled toilets in the check-in hall and the departure/arrival hall. Wheelchairs are available to borrow on departure and arrival. We provide attendance to and from the aircraft, as well as carry chairs and help to carry.
On 28 July 2008, a new EU rule was introduced that transferred the responsibility for assistance to disabled persons at airports from the airlines to the airports. Requests for assistance should be made to the airline no later than 36 hours in advance, and the passenger must inform the airport of his/her arrival at the airport meeting point no later than one hour before departure.
Special meeting points have been set up indoors and out at Örebro Airport. Our meeting points are outside the entrance, outside the arrival hall (by the taxi desk) and by the Information. The meeting points are signposted.
Tell the staff at check-in of your assistance needs so we can help you in the best possible way.
Örebro Airport has a mobile disabled hoist to help disabled passengers board the aircraft comfortably.
